Myers Briggs for Two: A Husband and Wife Got the Inside Scoop

Two professionals with a keen sense of self-awareness and a wonderful curiosity discovered their Myers Briggs Personality Types.  Their were nods of agreement and understanding, much laughter and a few "ah ha" moments as they uncovered new ways to describe themselves and their behaviour.  And by doing it together, they got a renewed appreciation for each other.  

HRMAM kicked off their new year with "Engage! The Leader's Role in Employee Engagement"

After a well deserved summer break, human resource professionals across the province heard about Getty and Darryl's take on the leader's role in engaging employees.  By combining the theories of a business trainer (Getty) and the real life experience of a business owner (Darryl), this presentation gave HRMAM members an interesting perspective on creating a great workplace culture.  It also gave them an inside look at the strategies IBEX Payroll has implemented to create an engaging workplace.

Manitoba Hydro's New Generation Construction Division is generating interest in Work/Life Balance!

Getty and Darryl shared their work/life balance strategies with professional and technical employees of Manitoba Hydro's New Generation Construction Division.  From their days at Centra Gas (now Manitoba Hydro) to their transition to entrepreneurship, Getty and Darryl know all too well how quickly life can become unbalanced.  Will their real life strategies dam the flow of unbalance for these employees?  Only time will tell.
